The Beurer BM 53 blood pressure monitor measures blood pressure and pulse rate fully automatically at the upper arm. With its advanced arrhythmia detection, the device can detect any irregular heartbeat that may occur and recognizes atrial fibrillation (AF). In this way, it contributes to the prevention of strokes. The integrated risk indicator classifies measured results and uses a traffic light color system to show the range of the determined blood pressure. The patented resting indicator uses hemodynamic stability diagnosis (HSD) to ensure that blood pressure is taken under conditions of sufficient circulatory rest and that the measured blood pressure represents the user's resting blood pressure. The measuring device is a clinically validated medical device and offers the doctor-recommended triple measurement for very accurate measurement results. Therefore, it is also ideal for making reliable measurements during pregnancy. The large XL display is easy to read thanks to the backlight and the device offers two user memories for 100 readings each. To ensure accurate blood pressure monitoring, the mean value of all stored morning and evening blood pressure readings for the last 7 days can be displayed. Both preset pressure and air release work automatically and the device also indicates when batteries need to be replaced, plus date and time. The high-quality cuff fits slim and strong arms with a circumference of between 22 and 42 cm.
